Dr. Tisol specializes in surgery of the chest including the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum and chest wall. His clinical interests include the treatment of benign and malignant diseases of the lung, esophagus and mediastinum. He is also interested in minimally invasive surgical techniques for diseases of the chest including hyperhidrosis. He incorporates multidisciplinary evaluation and management for patients with lung and esophageal cancers and advocates compassionate patient centered care. His future goals include regional outreach to underserved areas and development of a center for thoracic diseases.
